This is a non genuine fuel pump kit with everything you will need install the fuel pump onto your classic mini or moke. These are a Brilliant aftermarket alternative for cars pre 1990.
Drives off the camshaft at the rear of the motor. These pumps are generally reliable but when a diaphragm goes bad it can be very bad as often raw petrol is pumped into the engine. This dilutes the oil and causes severe wear. All minis except for 1990 on versions with either the HIF44 or HIF38 carb.
Please note: The pump must be installed perfectly square on the camshaft drive lobe. If the pump is not installed perfectly square, the pump lever arm will rub on the side of the cam lobe on the camshaft and the pump will not work! This can also lead to the pump lever arm breaking off into the gearbox!No warranty can be offered for incorrect installation.
