MINI & MOKE STEERING COLUMN DROP BRACKET- PRE 1996 ROVER [BG5101MS]

The first thing I do when I get a new Mini is to add a steering column adjuster. This bracket lowers the wheel 1″ to 3″ for a sportier driving position. This does not fit the later air bag models.

Tech note: It is very important that you release the tension on the steering rack by loosening the 4 nuts on the U bolts which retain the rack, install the bracket (the rack should be able to move against the floor of the car) then once installed make sure you tighten the 4 U bolt nuts!
